Oh…what a night!
The Golden Saddle Grand Prix was a hugs success last night! We had over 50 racers and well over 100 spectators(unheard of at Encino). We sold 450 raffle tickets, got $150 in donations for food and sold hella Save The Track Bike Tees. Tons of people were shooting pictures, so you’ll start seeing photos popup here and there. But I wanted to go ahead and say thank you to all the racers and everyone who came out to cheer them on. It’s not an easy job running a nonprofit and it’s definitely not easy to run a velodrome but I feel like we helped a bit last night. So I think everyone deserves a thank you and a pat on the back. Thanks guys…that was one amazing night..

it’s just getting started!
One of the first shop-warming gifts we received here at GSC was a framed drawing of a Maneki Neko kitty on a sweet vintage Track Bike beckoning us all to come along for the ride and that we did. Golden Saddle Cyclery has now been open for three months and we’re alive and well(just a little tired). So we wanted to honor this particular Maneki Neko kitty by printing it onto a t-shirt for all to wear. Printed in the US on American Apparel tees.
Come on in and pick one up, they won’t be around for long!
Bike Jerks Talks Gold!
One of our favorite Bike Jerks rolled through town recently and snapped a few photos, chatted and swooped the Sword for her riding pleasure.
