Repurposed shopping bags and innertube discounts!

May 31st, 2011 § 0 comments § permalink

Just letting everyone know that if you bring in any paper bag in decent condition(grocery store, Bloomingdale’s, REI, etc), we will give you 1$ off of any inner-tube purchase. There are thousands of paper bags sitting unused in homes across Los Angeles, why not bring one in and save some money on a tube?

This was one of the craziest things I have ever seen done on a Cyclocross Bike. That rock at the bottom of the photo is where Ty launched from and he cleared those three roots you can see underneath his wheels. Did I mention this is also in the middle of a climb…how the hell did he get enough speed? Mind is still blown! Now if Geekhouse would just get him a bike. Dude…shreds!

What is it with kids these days?

If you think your saddle is just perfect, it’s probably too high!

Come on in and let us tell you.

We will be meeting at Golden Saddle Cyclery at 9:30 am and leaving promptly at 10am for the ride. Double-Hump is the route we will be taking and should be arriving back at the shop around noon. We will have coffee from Intelligentsia and bagels from Brooklyn Bagel Bakery for everyone at the shop when we return!
